I'm Dorka

I'm a brand designer with a slightly unusual path here — I actually studied chemistry before I found my way into design. Turns out the same curiosity that made me love figuring out why things work is exactly what makes me love figuring out why a brand works (or doesn't).

I'm self-taught as a designer — I built my skills project by project, client by client, and I know exactly how overwhelming it feels to start from zero. My path actually started back in 2016, when I launched my first business together with my husband. That's where I first tried my hand at web design and UI — and took on projects that turned into real, offline products too, working alongside print shops on branding and packaging, and building relationships with clients I stayed with for years.

These days I run Design Squad while also being a mom — so I know firsthand what it's like to juggle a business and a family, and I build with that reality in mind, not around it.

Design Squad exists for women entrepreneurs — wherever you are in the world — who want their online presence to feel as put-together as the work they actually do. I'm currently building out a toolkit (the Confident Creator Kit) so you don't have to reinvent your visuals every time you sit down to post.

Why I do this

So many talented women entrepreneurs hold back online — not because they don't have something worth sharing, but because the visual side feels like one more thing to figure out. I want to close that gap: give you the templates, the shortcuts and the know-how so your brand looks like you, at your best, without the hours of second-guessing.
